Lucknow, Sep 27: The Samajwadi Party (SP) on Tuesday September 27 urged the state governor to initiate proceedings for dismissing the state government failing which fair polls will be a dream. The party also demanded white paper on various various public welfare projects announcement made by Chief Minister (CM).

"The ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) government is shuffling officials like a pack of cards. It is being done to affect the coming polls. Fair elections will remain a distant dream with BSP in power.

We therefore demand from the state governor to dismiss the state government," said state spokesperson, Rajendra Choudhary on Tuesday.

The SP leader lashed out the BSP government citing poor law and order situation. The party claimed that leader of opposition Shivpal Yadav is sitting on a dharna against the murder of a trader Virendra Kumar in his constituency Jaswant Nagar. Loot incidents are a routine thing in Lucknow while killing of a driver after he failed to pay bribe to RTO officials in Chandauli on Monday clearly reflects that law and
order situation in the state is at its nadir.

The party also decried various projects announced by the CM in recent past. "None of them have been completed. It is just a gimmick to divert people's attention. We demand a white paper to be released on these announcement so that people are aware about the reality," he said.

Meanwhile in another development state chief of the party Akhilesh Yadav will embark upon the third phase of his Kranti Rath journey from Lucknow on Wednesday. Akhilesh will start the journey from Lohia Park in Chowk and will proceed towards Hardoi. It will cover three districts Lucknow, Hardoi and Shahjahanpur crossing 14 assembly segments and travelling 317 kms.
