State Govt Employees get hike in DA, total annual cost Rs 1792.71 cr

Bengaluru, Mar 12: All employees of the State Government have been granted an increase in their dearness allowance from the present 38.75% to 42.5%

At the same time, the DA of employees drawing Central pay scales will get an increase from the present 46% to 50%.

The total financial burden to the State Exchequer is Rs 1,792.71 crore per year.
