Udupi: Sand Artists Give World Heart Day a 'Homely' Touch

Udupi, Sep 29: World Heart Day was celebrated in a unique style at KMC Greens, Manipal here on Thursday September 29.

Known for their zest for creating sand sculptures in meaningful ways particularly on special occasions, Srinath Manipal, Venki Palim and Ravi Hirebettu of Manipal Sand Art carved sculpture propagating peace, unity and brotherhood.

This year’s theme was One World, One Home, One Heart.

The whole sculpture was made by waste cardboard boxes. It attracted the attention of numerous students in Manipal.

The programme was organized by community medicine KMC, Manipal.
