New Delhi, Mar 18: Ayushi Dabas's journey is indeed an inspiring testament to the power of determination and resilience. Despite facing the challenge of vision impairment, she has not only pursued her dreams but has also excelled in her chosen field.
Growing up in Rani Khera, Ayushi attended a private school for her primary and secondary education, demonstrating early on her commitment to academic excellence. She continued her education at Shyama Prasad Mukherji College in Delhi, where she earned her bachelor's degree before pursuing her master's through IGNOU.
Ayushi's dedication to education did not stop there. For the past decade, she has been imparting knowledge as a teacher at a government senior secondary school for girls. Her passion for teaching goes beyond mere profession; it is a calling rooted in her desire to empower others, particularly women and those with physical disabilities, to achieve their full potential.
Despite her visual impairment, Ayushi has not allowed any barriers to hinder her pursuit of success. With the aid of screen reading software, she has been able to access study materials effectively on her laptop and phone, enabling her to prepare thoroughly for her endeavours.
Her remarkable achievement of securing AIR 48 in her fifth attempt at the UPSC is a testament to her hard work, determination, and the unwavering support of her family, particularly her mother, Asha Rani. Ayushi's story serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration, proving that with dedication, resilience, and the right support system, any obstacle can be overcome on the path to success.
