Mangaluru Mar 19: Since the model code of conduct, excise department have seized 11.74 litres of alcohol worth Rs 5760, while police have seized 1.441 kg of narcotic drugs worth Rs 309500.
As many as eight expenditure observers have been deployed in district, with 72 flying squad, 69 static surveillance team and eight excise teams.
In the last two days as enforcement of model code of conduct, 128 wall writing, 249 posters, 859 banners, 114 others, all together, the total number of defacement removal has been 1350, and zero cases have been lodged so far.
