Udupi: T Krishnappa, owner of No. 1 Beedi Mark passes away

Udupi, Mar 19: T Krishnappa (78), a resident of Tangadagadi, owner of No. 1 Beedi Mark, died in Udupi private hospital in the wee hours of Tuesday, March 19.

T Krishnappa, who has been supplying the market with No.1 beedi which is famous all over the coast for almost 51 years, was undergoing treatment at Adarsh Hospital in Udupi due to a kidney problem. Family sources said that he died in the early hours of Tuesday after the treatment failed.

The deceased is survived by his wife, two sons and three daughters.
