Bantwal: Suspicion over youth’s death falling into river, police begin probe

Bantwal, Mar 20: Nnumerous uncertainties surrounding the demise of a young man from Beltangady, who plunged into the waters of the Netravati River near Shamboor Sri Shanmukh Subrahmanya Temple on the evening of March 18th. The police have initiated an investigation based on a complaint lodged by the deceased's relatives.

Lohitashwa (30), a resident of Manjotti in Nada village, arrived at the banks of the Netravati River in Shamboor with four companions in a car. During this time, Lohitashwa's lifeless body was discovered in the water, still clad in clothing and wearing a wristwatch. Given that he had not ventured into the river for bathing, suspicions have arisen regarding the circumstances of his death.

Sandeep, a resident of Kaliya village and the brother-in-law of Lohitashwa, filed a report with the police, expressing doubts regarding Lohitashwa's demise. In light of this, the police have registered a case and are conducting an inquiry to ascertain the actual cause of death.

    First of all clear the circumstances how and when ,where he was found dead.Then try to give fault to others.May be fellow slipped and stuck on a stone in river bunk?Many places are slippery in river one doesnt see it.Now why suspicion?Can the young fellow explain it iwa s right or wrong?Dont make one innocent to culprit.sad it happened .May his soul rest in peace.Afterall there were four people.Atleast one would know what happend

    better to have limited social connections these days as most people are just behind money..if something goes wrong..the so called friends itself will turn into murderers....after 2014 this has increased a lot...no one believes in others...
