Udupi, Mar 25: In the bar attack case in Manipal where an innocent youth was attacked by a gang, all six accused were arrested on Monday, March 24.
SP Dr Arun K, speaking about the assault said, "All the six members involved in the incident have been arrested. Among them five are adults and one person is minor. They will be produced before the court and investigation will be held."
Explaining about the incident SP Dr Arun K said, "Arush Kumar, the complainant was standing in line to enter a bar and restaurant in Manipal. At that moment some other youths started irking him saying they will enter the restaurant first and some altercations had taken place at this moment. Arush went home in an autorickshaw after the incident. He was then followed and beaten by the six members".
A complaint was registered in Manipal police station.

Udupi, Mar 25: In a disturbing incident in the Saralebettu area of Manipal, an innocent youth fell victim to a merciless beating at the hands of a gang of six local youths. The entire ordeal was captured on CCTV footage.
The victim, Arush Kumar (21), hails from Mumbai and is a student at a private college in Manipal. Arush was targeted after his leg accidentally made contact with one of the assailants at a bar, reportedly named D & T Bar in Manipal, where the gang was consuming liquor.

Not content with just assaulting Arush at the bar, the gang pursued him all the way to his residence at Manjunath Apartment, where he lives alone. They continued their vicious attack, preventing Arush from entering his apartment. Thankfully, friends of Arush arrived at the scene, but the gang did not stop there. They later called Arush's mobile phone, threatening him with further violence.
Upon reviewing the CCTV footage, Manipal police promptly contacted Arush, gathered information, and registered a complaint. The police have begun the hunt to nab the accused.
