Dubai, Oct 3: Thumbay Moideen, founder president of Thumbay Group, UAE was the invited as guest speaker at the 2nd Franchise UAE, 2011, an International Franchise, Retail and Business Opportunity Show held at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dubai on Saturday October 1.
The meet offered an unparalleled opportunity for the franchisors to access entrepreneurs and investors in the dynamic Middle East to extend their footprint across the six states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Moideen delivered his lecture on “Creating Trendsetting Brands” focusing on the achievements of the Thumbay Group on ‘Growth Through Innovation’. Thumbay Group has grown into a diversified international company with businesses in 11 sectors, employing over 1500 people with its operations spread across the globe reaching over 154 nationalities.

The two-day event was organized by Franchise Middle East and supported by Dubai SME - an agency of Department of Economic and Development of Dubai, Ruwad Establishment, Middle East Franchising, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Indian Franchise Association (IFA) and Commercial Office of UAE Embassy, New Delhi.
