Hyderabad: Court Extends Reddys' Judicial Custody till Oct 17

Daijiworld Media Network

Hyderabad, Oct 3: A special court here on Monday October 3 extended the judicial custody of former Karnataka tourism minister Janardhana Reddy and his brother-in-law Srinivas Reddy till October 17.

The Reddys were arrested by the CBI on September 5 from Bellary for their alleged involvement in the Andhra illegal mining scam. They were brought to Hyderabad the same day and remanded in judicial custody till September 19, followed by CBI custody for six days. On September 30, the court declined to extend the CBI custody.

The order came based on the plea made by CBI to extend the judicial custody of both the Reddys.

The accused were kept away from the court for security reasons, and the hearing was through video conferencing between the court and Chanchalguda Central Jail, where the two are lodged.

Earlier in the day, the CBI conducted raids in the Bellary houses of Reddy's associates. Janardhana Reddy's wife's office too was raided and several documents were seized.

CBI teams were also raiding houses of some Karnataka forest department officials in Davangere and Chitradurga districts neibhouring Bellary in search of evidence on the extent of illegal mining by the Reddys, it is learnt.

Why only Reddy Brothers or BJP Leaders. In the Lokayukhta Report there are 59 other members of Congress and Janata Dal Leaders too. Not even single member has been raided or jailed. In Maharashtra as well as in Goa too Congress and NCP Leaders are doing the same business. If CBI wants to perform unbiased then they should take action or arrest all, else leave them all.
Nothing will happen to Reddy Brothers. I strongly believe negotiation is going on between CBI and Reddy Brothers for few crores of rupees. Once it is finalized Reddy Brothers will be freed and all CBI Officers involved in this case will become another Swiss Bank Account Holders like other Indians who made money in Bofors Case, Taj Renovation Scandal, Fodder Scam, CWG Scam and 2G3G Scam, etc etc

The Karnataka Govt is allowing the gang of Reddy cartels to roam free of any fear though it is a well know fact that Reddy gang is the biggest fraudster of the century.
Whereas the Gujarat’s Modi Govt is not allowing the honest officials to roam without fear and have arrested the whistle blower IPS officer Mr. Sanjeev Bhatt and shuttling him from one police station to another to break his guts.
To sprinkle more salt to the wound, Mr. Advani & MR. Yeddyurappa are planning to take people for a ride in their Rath Yatra that too to fight corruption. What kind of hypocrisy is this? Annaji, please do something. Jai Hind!

It is very difficult now for REDDY to come out from Jail when we see the seriousness of case and volume of corruptions additional to gross misuse of power while as District in charge Minister....He even used to take Mamool from all Mines owner and transport company. My question is why EDDY not lodged in the jail as under his nose unconstitutional things were took place for years. Then Lokayukta rightly observed in his report that it(BELLARY) was not under state govt control but it should be called "REPUBLIC OF BELLARY"Still some hardcore BJP supporters sympathies with 'AMUNDI'
They(all concerned including EDDY) should have to pay for their merry making of Karnataka State.

Why people should blame CBI as UPA agent when we see UPA ministers jailed now and then. Now it is clear that Karnataka government all these days tried to save the Reddy's.We will see Eddy going down very soon if the CBI continue work honestly as they are working now.It may be Anna fever has created this difference in the minds of CBI officials and the Judges that handled these Reddy cases.
