Bantwal: Police arrest absconding accused after 17 years

Bantwal, Mar 30: Police have apprehended an accused who had been absconding for the past 17 years, evading court appearances in connection with a case registered at the city police station.

The arrested individual is Abu Sali, a resident of Kanchila Kukkaje in the Manchi village.

He was apprehended in Beltangady by the city police station's PSI Ramakrishna, along with HCs Rajesh S and Ganesh N.

The arrested accused has been presented in court.
