Lucknow's Shia Cleric Admitted in Bangalore Hospital

Lucknow, Oct 4: Eminent Shia cleric and Imam-e-Juma of Asafi Masjid in Lucknow, Maulana Kalbe Jawwad was on Tuesday October 4 admitted in a hospital in Bangalore following chest pain.

Maulana Jawwad had gone to Bangalore for addressing the majlis in the house of one Agha Sultan on October 1. On Tuesday he complained of uneasiness and chest pain. He was shifted to Narayan Rudralaya Hospital.

His personal secretary Mohd Aslam at Lucknow informed newsmen that the cleric is being attended by Dr Devi Shetty and Dr Sanjay Mehrotra and his condition is stable.
