Bengaluru, Apr 3: Leader of Oppostion in the Assembly R Ashoka has asserted that BJP is ready for the 'Dharma Yuddha' (war of religion).
In a post on social media platform X, he claimed that a pro-BJP wave is sweeping over the entire country without any anti-incumbency feelings even after the consecutive full term rule of 10 years, which is perhaps the first in the country.
“The pro-Modi wave that existed during the 2014 Lok Sabha polls exists even now in 2024. In fact, the range of the pro-Modi wave is even bigger now than in the earlier two elections,” he claimed.
The BJP leader said it is natural that there are more aspirants in the world’s biggest political organisation and the selection of candidates done after weighing all factors may have caused some unhappiness and anger among the disappointed aspirants, their followers as well as party workers.
“But for BJP workers, who believe country first, party next and individuals last, some unhappiness and disappointment is insignificant when the national interest is concerned. All party workers and leaders are determined to ensure victory of the party candidates. This is the speciality of BJP. That’s why we are called a party with a difference,” he claimed.
Ashoka claimed that the efforts of senior party leaders during the last 2-3 days to pacify the disgruntled leaders, their supporters and party workers has been successful and the party is ready for 'Dharma Yuddha'.
The BJP leader said BJP-JD(S) candidates will be elected in all the 28 seats in the State to reach the target of 400 plus seats to ensure that Narendra Modi becomes prime minister for the third time.
