Mangaluru, April 11: The city Police commissioner has in a letter dated Thursday, April 11, ordered the deputy conservator of forests, Mangaluru, to remove honeycombs along PM’s route for security reasons.Prime Minister Modi will be visiting the city on April 14.
The prime minister's roadshow will be start from Narayana Guru circle (Lady Hill) and will culminate at Navabharath Circle.
The police commissioner has asked to remove honeycombs at places where the roadshow will be held, parking places, Mangaluru International Airport, helipad and buildings along the route of the roadshow.
The places specified in addition are A J Hospital, Wenlock Hospital, KMC Hospital, Mangaluru city corporation commissioner’s office, SDM Law College, Circuit House and the road from the International Airport till the venue of the places where the dignitaries are likely to travel.
