Kundapur: 32-yr-old man dies in scooter accident

Kundapur, Apr 13: A tragic incident occurred last night, April 12, as a scooter rider lost his life in an accident near the Korgi panchayat office on the Dabbakatte road in Shiriyara, close to Koteshwar.

The victim, identified as Sandeep Shetty (31), a resident of Konattu, Korgi, was riding his Jupiter scooter back home after completing his work around 8 pm when the accident occurred.

The scooter skidded, resulting in the fatal fall. Sandeep, who was unmarried, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The Kundapur traffic police station has registered a case in connection with the incident.

    90% of 2 wheeler riders don't wear helmets which saves fatal head injuries. U have met with a few accidents and with light concussion no head injuries it had prevented. People don't learn the lesson but they or their family suffer later.
