Bangalore: Bank Employee Murdered in Apartment Lift, Watchman Suspected

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Oct 8: In a gruesome incident which occurred at Polo Garden apartment at Upper Pipeline Road, Seshadripuram in the city on Friday October 7 afternoon, a bank employee was murdered allegedly by the watchman of the apartment she was living in.

The victim has been identified as Anusuya (43), working as cashier for State Bank of Mysore, Seshadripuram branch.

In the afternoon, Anusuya came home for lunch as usual. She entered the lift to reach her apartment located in the third floor, when Ashfaq, who was working as watchman of the apartment since some time, allegedly rushed towards her, slit her throat, and fled.

It is learnt that Ashfaq is a native of Assam. The motive behind the murder is uncertain, as ornaments worn by the woman were intact.

Laxmi, mother of Anusuya, was waiting for the arrival of Laxmi for lunch, when she heard the frantic screams of her daughter and turned panicky. Being sick, she requested her neighbours to rush down.

On doing so, the neighbours found that Anusuya had collapsed, and blood oozing out of her throat had spilled over the lift walls and the ground. The police were then summoned.

City joint police commissioner, B Dayanand, said that a case has been registered in this connection, and that the policemen had launched a search operation for Ashfaq.

You are right Mr.Reymanod D'kunna, truth is always bitter. When the culprit belongs to muslims,we blame the religion. If we use the same rationale, for example, can we blame chritianity for the killings of millions of jews by Hittler(a christian) and also mussolani who killed in millions too? No.We can not blame.

It is surprising that people still believe these people. This is the stupidity of the highest order. Victim is always ed.

Let us see when people will realize this fact.

The need of the hour is imposing the harshest punishment to the guilty. But our great ruling party is very busy to protect its power and play vote bank politics.

This is apartment management's blunder mistake. They had the chance to fire this guy on the spot right away as soon as they received the complaint from the lady about his bad behavior. This is the price they paid at the end.

LOL all the loosers stand on two banks of the religious divide... one section which is overtly underconfident of itself and always seems to get defensive about blah blah blah 1433 etc... and one side which harps on the other side being either on their side or being evil... in the bargain the watchman must have already boarded the Dhanbad express and must be heading home with the loot... stop fighting on public forums ... grow up people...

Very well said Brother Rehan, Mr. Harsh has to know more about the world before 1433 years. Mr. Harsh please dont blame a religion for mistake of an individual, if religion is to be blamed on any individual's mistake then what would you say about Mahesh who killed 17 women of your community just to have fun with them and kill once the need is over is this your religion or books thought you all, get educated yourself first then teach others, sitting inside the glass cage you are throwing stone to others roof, take care of yourself.

It is indeed a very sad incident that took place.
But Mr.Harsh, the way you have pointed out on my ppl. let me bring some facts -
In delhi, how many ppl are killed on a daily basis? are they all blamed on muslims? how many are raped? are they all muslims??
if you read history books and educate your self, Girls were buried ALIVE!
all this was stopped before 1433 years. The world was thought peace.
so let us not blame the religion on a single persons act. If you want to learn about islam, you are more than welcome to ask questions to the right ppl.
if islamic law was implimented,no one would do such crimes. Unfortunately,we are only 1433 years old. if we were older...the world may have been a better place!
