New Delhi, Oct 8: Anna Hazare's latest challenge seems to have irked the Congress camp which has apparently gone into damage control mode after the social activist publicly asked the people of Hisar, Haryana not to vote for Congress. Hisar will be going for Lok Sabha byelections on October 13.

Speaking to a TV channel in Nagpur, Salman Khurshid, union law minister and senior party leader urged Anna Hazare not to interfere in politics, as his job was social work, not politics. "Politics is our job, let us do it. Social service is your job, so please stick to it."

Earlier this week, the social activist and key member of Lokpal committee had appealed to the people of Hisar through a recorded video message to defeat the Congress party which so far has failed to commit itself on the Jan Lokpal bill.

From October 8, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia will be in Hisar campaigning against the government. Kejriwal has also appealed to the people to teach a lesson to Congress for avoiding Jan Lokpal bill.

In another move, Maharashtra Congress chief Manickrao Thakre on Saturday arrived in the Gandhian's hometown Ralegaon Siddhi to speak to him on the issue and convince him not make any political campaign against Congress.

    Hey, Salman, stop this arrogance.... You have been sucking the blood of aam aadmi and minting money and hoarding in foreign banks, India is not yhour or your forefathers private property..We as citizens of India has every right on our national income and u and ur party has miserably failed to give us a corrupt free administration but u went on patronising corruption.. u have betrayed ur countrymen and mother India. Even other political parties are not better than u. So we need people like Anna to stand against the ill practices... Anna is not less than Gandhi and I am sure u r worried that u and ur party shall be wiped off forever if Anna decides to go against u..We are sure to support any party or organisation that stands up against corruption and no corruption means prosperity and by doing away with corruption, we can march forward and average Indian shall become rich...to live a dignified 3 meals a day life.... Congress shall be history very soon...

    Actually, people should understand that Anna is doing a big social service by this act the only objective of which is to ensure that Jan Lokpal Bill is passed at the earliest. Why does Congress not want to pass it? - because half of its members will be in jail soon, including Sonia who only went abroad for hiding that Swiss money in the pretext of operation? Is anyone listening?

    This is utter arrogance from congress. When a party which has been in power for more than 64 years has miserably failed to lead its countrymen out of poverty, then people like Anna is the only hope. Congress has been an utter failure. Their so called leaders RG and SG do not have any qualifications to be leaders except that they are from Nehru dynasty. And the so called other leaders are busy appeasing these leaders. This applies to other political parties also. These politicians have been busy in building their fortunes for their great great grand children, while the very people who elected them are left with nothing. When politicians like these, let the very people who elected them to rot to themselves, while enjoying all the luxuries of the life for themselves, then people like Anna has to rise. Who is this Salman Khurshid to tell Anna or to anybody, not to interfere in politics. who gave him the authority to say like these. Just because he is a politician, can he bark anything. What is harm in anybody telling not to vote for a political party,if I feel that party has not made any efforts to keep its promises. Salman's comments only show the scared mentality of the Congress. Congress unless you improve, your days are numbered.
