Bangalore: 'LTTE Member' Threatens to Blow up Renukacharya's Houses

Bangalore, Oct 9: When the world is talking in gigantic numbers, here's a person demanding a mere Rs 20 lac from a man worth several crores.
Excise minister M P Renukacharya has reportedly received a letter from one T Mohan Kumar who has demanded Rs 20 lac and threatened to blow up his houses if he failed to pay up or informed the police.
The letter was received through speed post, with the sender instructing the minister to leave the money at Chowdeshwari Temple, APMC yard on Honnali-Shimoga Road on October 12.
The sender's address points to Hospet Hakkal, Sorab taluk. Mohan claims that he is a member of LTTE.
Renukacharya, however, is not perturbed. He brushed away possibilities of any serious threat and termed the letter as an act of mischief. However, the police are not taking it lightly and have begun investigations.
