Chikkaballapur, Apr 18: Accusing former minister and BJP candidate from Chikkaballapur Dr K Sudhakar of getting party ticket by wielding influence, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday said person rejected by the voters in the assembly polls is contesting again and will definitely lose in Lok Sabha polls too.
Addressing a rally in favour of Congress candidate Raksha Ramaiah at Chikkaballapur, he predicted a resounding victory for the young and dynamic Congress candidate.
The Chief Minister claimed that INDIA block will come to power and the ruling BJP and NDA will not cross even 200 seats against the tall claims of ‘abki baar 400 paar’ which will never happen.
Siddaramaiah mentioned that Dr Sudhakar, who became health minister in the Basavaraj Bommai regime and higher education minister in the previous B S Yediyurappa regime, was involved in widespread corruption, which is being probed.
The investigation into the alleged corrupt activities of Dr Sudhakar will be proved, the Chief Minister said asking the people to vote against the BJP-JDS candidate and prove the corruption in people’s court.
Siddaramaiah said the Congress government’s guarantees have benefitted the people, especially the poor and women while the previous BJP regime in the State and the 10-year Modi rule was a total failure as all the promises were forgotten.
