Byndoor, April 18: BJP rebel candidate K S Eshwarappa said the Congress nominee Geetha Shivarajkumar of Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency is a dummy candidate of former chief minister and senior BJP leader B S Yediyurappa.

Addressing a news conference here, Eshwarappa said, “Yediyurappa has tied up with Congress to ensure his son’s victory in Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency. That is why he has made her to contest from the Congress party and that is why some unhappy leaders and voters of Congress party are supporting me. The RSS and Sangh Parivar are supporting me in Shivamogga. Guruji said “Sandh Kuch Nahin Karega. Sab Kuch Karega."

“Sadhus and Saints should not have been brought into elections. This is very painful. This has been condemned by national devotees association. I have got full support in Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency. In addition, Congress and BJP supporters have promised me tacit support. Radha Mohan Agarwal who said that he does not know me had come to my home. I think he has forgotten about it."

Eshwarappa said, “My cry has reached the central leadership. Today also I received a phone call. My words have reached Amit Shah. He could not reply to me.”

Eshwarappa has asked Yediyurappa's sons to tell their father that they do not have experience and asked their father about the work he has done in Karnataka. Then he will answer Vijayendra and Raghavendra.

“It is really sad that the BJP which was built due to the penance and sacrifice of the elders is reaching its nadir in Karnataka. The father and the sons should know that BJP is not a private limited partnership company,” concluded Eshwarappa.
