Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Apr 20: The road graffiti supporting the NOTA (None of the Above) option during voting was discovered on an inner road in Suratkal city.

The message ‘Vote for NOTA’ was prominently written on the concrete road connecting Suratkal Marigudi.

Additionally, ‘Vote for Soujanya’ was also inscribed at the bottom.

Concerned members of the public brought this matter to the attention of election officials. Subsequently, the graffiti was removed by applying Calcium Oxide (quicklime).

Eradicating corruption in Indian soil is impossible. Modi came to power with sloogan " ache din" in bin and "na khawoonga na khane doonga" he himself ate more than required and now cannot able to digest So best option for indians Congress led government at centre can please all sections of society.

NOTA in its current format, most stupid option to chose, that too after spending hours to vote. Why? That no is irrelevant, as candidate with just 1 vote, rest all votes counted as NOTA, still be declared winner. This is same like boycotting. Not worth at all.

Surprising and strange that NOTA is even tarred black by the authorities. It is very desirable and positive that NOTA is highlighted along with all options and explained that it can in the long term be a very real and desired option to correct the ills of unsuited and undesirable party/candidates. Why are authorities and politicians shy of pointing to this golden option. Please dear voters do educate your selves on this NOTA option and make use where it fits best to correct the tarnished democratic principles and working of the Nation now and in future. Thanks.

i feel nothing wrong in it...but i think in India even if NOTA is more than 50 percent nothing will happen...in australia the election is cancelled and new candidates have to contest...

Of course, there is an option. But we need to choose lesser of the evils available.. opting for NOTA Will not help in such a case. So the voter has to be wise And make a calculated choice, and not press on NOTA.
