Kaup: Voters in Kattingeri first ward withdraw Boycott after former minister intervenes

Kaup, Apr 21: Former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake visited the voters of Kattingeri first ward  and talked to the voters and the public after learning that the local voters and the public had decided to boycott the polls demanding proper roads in Akshara Karavali Road in Kattingeri Ward-1 under Moodubelle Gram Panchayat.

Vinay Kumar Sorake convinced the voters and said that the work has already been entered in the sanctioned work list of the minister of public works department of the state government, and the work will be taken on priority after the women's elections.

In a joint statement, Shivaji Suvarna Belle and Ranjani Hegde, former presidents of Belle Gram Panchayat, said that voters have withdrawn their election boycott and agreed to participate in the polls after being persuaded that the work will be taken up immediately after approval.
