Bantwal, Apr 23: The Congress conducted election campaigning in various parts of Bantwal in light of the Lok Sabha elections.

Candidate Padmaraj R Poojary, former minister Ramanath Rai, and other prominent leaders of the party visited Allipade, Navoor, Amtadi, Moolarapatna, Karpe Sri Ramanjaneya Bhajana Mandira, Siddakatte, Rayi, Panjikallu, Kukkuppady, Bastikodi, Irvathurpadavu, Kavalkatte, Vagga, and engaged with voters and party workers.

Addressing the public, Padmaraj said, “We have never indulged in hate politics. There is no necessity for such hate from us. We must inform people about the achievements of the Congress government and the development schemes we have planned. Surely, Congress will emerge victorious in Dakshina Kannada.

“According to reports, a Congress victory is confirmed. However, we must remain vigilant. Opposition parties are spreading false propaganda. There is information that they are taking oaths on holy books in every household. So, let us patiently face this challenge. In the next two to three days, we need to be careful,” he said.
