Bengaluru, Apr 24: Congress workers held protests on Wednesday against the IT raids on the residences of Bengaluru Rural Congress MP and party candidate D K Suresh’s aides.

The Income Tax Department officials conducted the raids on the residences of Konanakunte Block Congress President Shridhar and former Corporator Gangadhar.

The enraged Congress party workers alleged that the IT raids were conducted to prevent and obstruct the three-term Congress MP from actively campaigning in the Bengaluru Rural Lok Sabha constituency.
