One of the greatest philanthropists of our times. May the souls of both people rest in peace. Unfortunately when Mr. Ramappa was alive he was always ridiculed by cheap jokes in one of mangalore's Daily eveninger. This was mainly because of his success even though he was uneducated and this was done by those people who had taken help from him. Atleast now people have realised him. Salute to both noble souls.

Heartfelt condolences to Kamalakka's family members on the sad demise of our beloved Rampanna's wife.We were next to their house behind retreat house where they lived their early life. He was very close to my family.Even i was there when their only daughter Indira died.A truly helping couple to the needy.Though Rampanna died long back but their memories will cherish in the hearts of Mangloreans through jokes.Once they shifted to Jeppina mogru they had a large family & they helped many a needy family irrespective of caste & Creed.May their names may ever remain is my prayer.Once again our condolences to all the family members.

News of death of Rampanna's wife rekindled memories of our college days.
I once visited Rajkamal restaurant out of curiosity only to find that it is the taste more than the price that attracts lower middle class to this restaurant.
His rule of imposing fine on wasting food is actually good way of educating people not to waste food. A Saudi National in Al Khobar has this rule too.
The people who mocked him failed to see his hard work and service to humanity by selling quality meal at low price.
