Mangaluru, May 1: Manasa Water Park introduced The Manasa Maxx Royal Membership and commemorated Workers' Day on Wednesday, May 1, at Manasa Water Park, Vamanjoor.

Jayesh Sabastian, managing director, expressed his joy, stating, "Workers' Day holds significant importance worldwide, and it is celebrated on May 1st across the globe. Labor is crucial for the development of a nation and industrialization. About 20-30 years ago, infrastructure was less developed, and work processes were challenging. To honor the hard work of workers, May 1st was designated as a holiday. While most people enjoy a holiday today, the hospitality sector, including us, often continues working. To compensate for this, we will allow a one-day picnic in June and July."

James Anto, general manager of Manasa Water Park, also shared his thoughts, saying, "It has been two years since we restarted Manasa Water Park, and with the grace of God, we have successfully maintained our momentum. Our aim is not only to attract local audiences but to make Manasa Water Park popular nationwide. Everyone has contributed significantly to our success, and we are grateful. We must strive to work even harder, as the future is uncertain. Today, we are introducing the Maxx Royal Membership, and within a year, Manasa Water Park will be significantly improved. The membership, valid for three years, costs 15,000 INR and provides access for the entire family. Members can enjoy a six-night, seven-day stay at Manasa Resort during their membership period, with an additional 50% discount. Special discounts are available at affiliated places of Manasa."

Wilfred Pinto, chairman of Manasa Water Park, emphasized the importance of unity, stating, "One person can bring a thousand, and ten people can bring 15,000. This year, eight students were offered part-time jobs, and we welcome them to be a part of Manasa Water Park. Non-permanent workers will be granted permanent status from today. Discussions about salary increases will be held in May."

Philip and Praveen Tauro, marketing managers of Daijiworld Media Network, were the first recipients of the Manasa Maxx Royal Membership. K J Anthony, director of Manasa Water Park, Manjunath, HR, and other staff members were also present at the event.
