Passenger Flight Lands as Windscreen Cracks


Islamabad, Oct 12 (IANS): A passenger aircraft had to land in Karachi after its windscreen developed cracks.

The Airbus A-310 was flying from Dubai to Peshawar when its windscreen developed some cracks, reported Geo TV.

The Dubai-Peshawar flight PK-284 was diverted to Karachi where it landed safely, said sources.

The report did not say how many people were on board the aircraft. Normally, an Airbus A-310 aircraft accommodates 220 passengers in a typical two-class layout with 20 first-class and 200 economy-class seats.
