Byndoor, May 1: K S Eshwarappa, BJP rebel candidate who is contesting from Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency said that his group of Rashtra Bhakta Balaga is the only organisation that has formed booth committees in 2,238 booths in the Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency.

Eshwarappa spoke to reporters on Wednesday. He further said, “Some people are spreading false propaganda that Eshwarappa will get maximum of 25,000 votes. However, this time around voters will make me victorious regardless of party affiliation."

“Our workers have visited each and every house of the constituency and have conveyed my election symbol of a farmer holding sugarcane and my serial number is 8. Congress voters are unsatified as BJP and Congress made adjustments and made Geetha Shivarajkumar to contest,” he said.

Sridhar Bijoor had supported Eshwarappa in the beginning but has now rejoined BJP. Eshwarappa said, “Sridhar is the one who organised Rashtra Bhakta Balaga in Byndoor. I have a lot of respect towards him. But the reason he has given for rejoining the BJP is not the right one. I know he also respects me and does not know why he has rejoined BJP.”

Regarding Prajwal Revanna's sex video scandal, Eshwarappa said, “That is a cheap subject. If I speak about it my mouth will get dirty. In Mahabaratha Dushyasana got the punishment for disrobing a woman. Similarly, in this case also the culprit will get punishment.”

Eminent leaders of Rashtra Bhakta Balaga were present.
