Udupi, May 2:  Srinaga Deva- Brahma Kalashabhisheka and Sri Veerabhadra Swamy Brahma Kumbh Abhisheka were performed at Veerabhadra Saparivara Temple here together with Anna Santarpane under the guidance of Vidwan Herge Jayarama Tantri and the cooperation of Vedamurthi Gururaj Bhat Kolalagiri on May 2.

The rituals began at 7 am by Prathista Homa, followed by reinstallation of Naga Brahma, Thila Homa, Kustanda Homa, Pavamana Suktam Homa, Skapana Kalasha Prathiste, other Homas, Sarpa Prayaschita Roopa Ashlesha Bali, Kalasabhishekam, Prasanna Pooje, Vatu Aradhane, Prasada distribution etc.

Brahma Kumbhashabhisheka Prasanna Pooje was held at 12 pm followed by Maha Anna Santarpane at 1 pm.

Temple treasurer Irmadi Dr Jeevan Prakash Shetty, secretary K Thimmappa Hegde, president Jaya Prasad Shetty, renovation and Brahmakalashotsava committee treasurer Rakshit Shetty, secretary Suresh B Shetty, president H Nagaraj Hegde and a large number of devotees were present.
