Udupi, Oct 13: Dinesh Poojary of Shetrakudru in Matapady village, near here, has had a spate of bad fortune that has left him dependent on the generosity of others.

Dinesh is married and has three daughters. He turned blind five years ago and has undergone surgery four times since then. Thirty-seven-year-old Dinesh experienced poor eyesight initially and this turned into complete blindness with time. He is now dependent on others for every task.

While Dinesh leads his life depending on others, his brother Bhaskar is bed-ridden due to paralysis for three months now.

Bhaskar was working as a driver in Mumbai and returned to his native village, when he could not work anymore due to paralysis. The family is in distress since the bread winners are languishing in bed and they have to bear the cost of expensive medication.

Dinesh has spent nearly Rs 1 lac in the hope of regaining his eyesight. His wife finds it difficult to manage the family due to meager resources. His mother is elderly and helpless to improve the situation. The family is in a pathetic situation due to various reasons.

Dinesh could manage the family with his physically handicapped monthly income of Rs 1,000 and the financial support extended by his in-laws.

Dinesh’s family seeks generous contributions from kind-hearted persons to help them.

Daijiworld you are the best. I am so happy you have accepted my humble request wherein I had mentioned that to keep scrolling the articles of the people in need so that every needy gets atleast some help. I am not bragging, but I have always seen that whenever we help someone in need the benefits of joy, satisfaction we get has no limit Also, there are miracles and some works which were not happening suddenly there is positiveness. This Diwali let us bring joy and happiness to Mr. Dinesh and his family.

very well said Mr. Alexander P. Menezes. Your thoughts, actions really appreciated. God bless you and all those who pray and help for this noble cause. These kinds of helps, thoughts, and writings will give good impressions and values rather than just thinking, wasting on useless subjects like politics, governments, political people etc., There are many good things we can think, write and do. There are good, needy, excellent people are around us. Let us focus on these too, instead of just blaming always on UPA, BJP ETC...Thanks Daiji for bringing focus on this kind of news. Let us learn to do good, or atleast think good.

The sight of those three little beautiful girls gave me a real jolt thinking about their future. Yes, there is no dobut that,I will help this family financially but I would like Daijiworld to start an initative, so that these three girls get a proper education, proper food and care. Being away from Udupi, most of us are in a situation, even though if we want to help, we are not able to help in person. Please atleast for the sake of these 3 litle girls, I am sure we all must atleast sacrifice one time eating out and save that money for these three little girls family.

I am willing to bear the cost of one child's education and her well being, and I humbly urge my fellow readers of this site to sponsor the other two. I would also appreciate your reporter to give me the full address of this family so that I can make sure some of the household items reach this family. Most of us have so many clothes of our children, Toys, food items, and books which we have them excess in our homes. Please give them to this family so that these 3 little angels wear them and benfit from it. I am sure, almighty lord will surely bless you all. I thank those who have already extended the financial help and those who have not yet done so, I would urge them to do so.

Daijiworld, thank you for inroducting this needy family to the readers and they truly deserve our help.

Let us be there for the sake of their little girls. If they get proper education, it will be a ray of hope for the parents in their old age.

Someone offering to sponsor each girl's study can be a help to them.
