Bengaluru, May 5: Former minister and JD(S) leader H D Revanna was remanded to four days of custody by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Sunday, May 5, in connection with the Hassan sex scandal.
Revanna's arrest occurred on Saturday evening at the Padmanabhanagar residence of his father, former prime minister H D Deve Gowda. He stands accused in a kidnapping case in Mysuru involving a woman who allegedly suffered sexual assault by his son and JDS' Hassan MP, Prajwal Revanna.
Presented before a magistrate in Koramangala Sunday evening after undergoing medical tests at Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital, Revanna is slated to remain in the probe team's custody until May 8.
