Udupi: SMVITM final year students farewell function held

Udupi, May 13: The farewell function for the 11th batch students of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM) was held on May 11 at institutional premises.

Rathna Kumar, secretary of the Sode Vadiraja Math Education Trust, Udupi was the chief guest of the farewell function. Speaking on the occasion he said, "Starting small allows us to overcome our concerns and gain the confidence necessary to take on larger challenges. By taking little moves, we gradually broaden our comfort zones and build the resilience needed for long-term success. Graduates must be ready to face all the challenges in the society and should have all the skill sets to succeed in their life."

Prof Dr Thirumaleshwara Bhat, principal, presided over the farewell function. In his presidential remarks. he wished the students for their bright future. The heads of various departments and faculty were present in the programme.

Prize distribution for the best project competition for final year students, technical paper writing, technical talk winners were facilitated.
