Mangaluru, May14: A two-day workshop on “Filing of Income Tax Returns” was held under the aegis of commerce association of Dr P Dayananda Pai – P Sathisha Pai Government First Grade College (DPDPPSPGFGC), Car Street. The two sessions were held on May 13 and 14 for the four batches of III Year B Com students of the college and interested teachers in the college auditorium.

The speaker for both the sessions was Louis Manoj, assistant professor, Department of Commerce, DPDPPSPGFGC, Car Street, Mangaluru.

The session was conducted with an objective of giving a hands-on training to the students on handling the income tax website. The demonstration was also made live for teachers and students of other colleges. It was followed up with questions from the participants. All in all it was a fruitful session for the participants both academically professionally.

Around 385 students participated in this programme in two batches.
