Mangalore: Get Set Go: Enthusiasts Vigorously Partake in Maruthi Suzuki Autocross Race

Mangalore, Oct 16: A good number of contestants energetically participated in the Maruthi Suzuki Autocross, a motor sport event  organized by the Mangalore Motor Sport Association for two wheelers and four wheelers at NH 66, Kulur here on Sunday October 16.
 
The two-day event comprised a practice session on Saturday and the final race was held today, with the dirt track of 1km.

Participants from Mysore, Bangalore, Chickmagalur, Moodigere, Shimoga, Coorg, Hassan were present.

The four-wheeler event witnessed participation from Baban Khan from Bangalore, Aroor Vikram Rao, Aroor Arjun Rao, top team of Moodigere among others. In the two wheeles caltegory Siddharth Nayak, Mohammed Adnan, Sudeepan and Shruptha Padival were some of the contestants.

The co-sponsors of the event were K and N Filter, JK Tyres, Castrol, IMG Sports, and Mandovi Motors.
A  Sanjay Rao, director, Sudhir B K, president of Mandovi Motors, Yathish Baikampady, coordinator, were present during the event.

1st place - Nishak Salian(Valencia Gorigudda)

2nd place - Shishir Pervody(Ujjodi)

3rd place - Dinesh Gowda(Puttur)

Expert Class

1st place - Suhail Ahmed(Bangalore)

2nd place - Adnan Ahmed(Mangalore)
