Anti-party activity intolerable, indiscriminate action: Udupi BJP district president Kishore Kumar

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (JD)

Udupi, May 18: “With the announcement of the party's candidates for the legislative council elections, the election work has already been accelerated. BJP is an activist-based party. Workers are the lifeblood of the party. No anti-party activities will be tolerated. In such a situation, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken within the party framework,” said Udupi BJP district president Kishore Kumar Kundapur.

He made these remarks at the election preparation meeting, and he thanked the workers who participated in the Lok Sabha elections held at the BJP district office.

Udupi MLA Yashpal A Suvarna stated that the party workers are actively engaged in the Lok Sabha elections, and the party candidate Kota Srinivas Poojary is expected to win with the maximum margin of votes. Having received education from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and serving as a head teacher, the BJP candidate from south-west graduates’ constituency, currently the vice president of Shivamogga district BJP, Dr Dhananjaya Sarji, and the current Vidhana Parishad member NDA candidate from south west teachers’ constituency S L Bhoje Gowda will also win.”

Pramod Madhwaraj, former minister and election campaign committee chairman of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency, stated that the party has nominated a strong candidate for the Lok Sabha elections, and all the party workers have worked sincerely. “The victory of Kota Srinivas Poojary, a humble gentleman and an experienced politician, is certain. With great diligence, he will occupy the highest position in the future. BJP is a party of discipline. I joined the BJP because I appreciated the principle that the party is more important than the individual and the country is more important than the party. I believe that such a noble principle in the party will never be hurt," he said.

The presidents of the mandals presented a report on the overview of the Lok Sabha elections and the pre-election preparations for the legislative council.

During the occasion, Udupi-Chikkamagaluru candidate Kota Srinivas Poojary; Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna; former district president Kuilady Suresh Nayak; BJP Mangaluru division general secretary Prasad Kumar, former MLA Lalaji R Mendon, mahila morcha state general secretary Shilpa G Suvarna, party leaders, BJP district office-bearers, zilla morcha and mandal presidents and general secretaries, district and mandal election management committee members, and other representatives were present.

BJP district general secretary Dinakara Shetty Herga compered the programme.
