Hyderabad: Court Extends Janardhana's Reddy's Custody till Oct 31

Hyderabad, Oct 17: Former tourism minister Gali Janardhana Reddy and his brother-in-law B V Srinivas Reddy will have to wait for some more days before they can hope to be out on bail.

A special CBI court on Monday October 17 extended the judicial custody of the duo till October 31.

The two were arrested by the CBI on September 5 from Bellary in Karnataka for their alleged involvement in illegal mining case. They were taken to Hyderabad the same day and remanded in judicial custody, and later in CBI custody for a week.

The hearing was conducted through video conferencing as lawyers in Nampally Criminal Court continued their protest for separate Telangana state. The Reddys are lodged in Chanchalguda Central Jail here.

The court on September 30 had dismissed bail petitions of the mining baron and his brother-in-law. The same day, the court refused to remand the accused into further custody of CBI.

    The disgraced Bellary mining don G. Janardhana Reddy or “Gali Baba 40 Chor" had the guts to donate Rs 42 crore crown to the Lord in June 2009 that he had purchased using “ill-gotten money”. The devotees had taken out a rally in Tirumala to protest against the “tainted” crown being used to adorn the idol of the good Lord every second Friday.
    “For the son of a former police constable to make the second-highest offering to Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala after the kings of Vijayanagar is quite an achievement indeed.”

    Don’t worry soon “Anna Hazare” will join all today on a PIL against “Anna’s NGO” SC has issued notice to Anna for alleged fund mismanagement and is in a process to initiate CBI action.
    On the other hand today Congress-NCP loses in Pune assembly by-poll and BJP wins and Hisar by-polls BJP supported Bishnoi wins.
    This shows Congress’s eagerness in countering corruption allegations/its miss rule by indulging revenge politics and putting/keeping non-congress people behind the bar (Suresh Kalmadi is only the exception) and on the other hand it is losing trust of the people day in day out.

    These high profile JAIL BIRDS like EDDY/REDDY/NAIDU should be shifted to Tihar Jail for security,safety and smooth running of present BJP GOVT@ least for 18 months in Karnataka.Because all ministers, MLAs, and politicians of BJP concentrating @ these corrupt people only either in Hospital or in Jail.

    The magnitude of Reddy's corruptions concerned, he is unlikely to make it to his palatial home in Bangalore.These people deserving to be lodged in Jail permanently to uphel rule of land, to safe guard democratic system of any sate or nation.

    I request you to kindly Extend the Custody for reddy till October 31st 2020 and save our precious time.
    I also request you to kindly extend the custody for Yeddi, Raja, Amar singh & Kalmadi as well..
    Again I request you to kindly Issue a Arrest Warrant to Sheila dixit, chidambaram, Chavan, Kumaraswamy, Revanna, Balakrishna, Devegowda as well.
    Please issue a notive to all these culprits in india and get a Justice for 100 crore indians.
