Mangaluru: Karavali Group of Colleges hosts annual award presentation ceremony

Mangaluru, May 21: The annual award presentation ceremony of Karavali Group of Colleges was held at the Karavali Institute of Technology in Neermarga.

Speaking on the occasion, S Ganesh Rao, founder president of G R Education Trust and the administrative board of the group of colleges, said, “These achievement awards are presented to encourage the talents in students. Students should not limit themselves only to studies but also involve in creative activities. This is very important in today’s competitive world.”

Latha G Rao, director of the Karavali Group of Colleges, was the chief guest. Talented students from various courses and winners in educational, sports, and cultural fields were presented with awards.

Gold medals were awarded to students of the Karavali Group of Colleges who secured ranks in various degree examinations, on behalf of the G R Education Trust.

Dr Rajendra Prasad, principal of Karavali Institute of Technology; Dr Ravi Kumar, principal of the Pharmacy College; Prof Bagirathi, principal of the Nursing Sciences College; Dr Raghuchand; Prof Mohan Naik, principal of Karavali College; and Prof Zeeshan, student welfare officer, were present.

Shwetha compered the event. Rakshita welcomed the guests, and Ashura rendered the vote of thanks.
