Kundapur, May 21: A POCSO case has been filed at the Amasebail police station against an accused who enticed a pre-university (PU) girl student, took her in his car, sexually harassed her, and clicked obscene photos to threaten her.
The accused, Shreya Naika, a resident of Shankaranarayana, had been in a relationship with the victim for the past year, promising to marry her.
According to the complaint, Shreya Naika took the victim a year ago in his car to a deserted forest area and engaged in physical relations with her in the car. Over the course of the year, he continued to have sexual relations with the victim multiple times. Additionally, he took obscene photos of the girl to use as a means of coercion.
A case under the POCSO Act has been registered against Shreya Naika.
