Mangalore, Oct 18:
As a mark of solidarity with their leader, former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, and in hope of his early release from custody on charges of corruption, members of the Mogaveera community performed 'Urulu Seve' at the Shree Vyagra Chamundi Temple, Ullal here on Tuesday October 18.

Led by Sadananda Bangera, president of Mogaveera Sangha Ullal and its leader Vittal Suvarna, many people of the community rolled over the ground as part of the ritual in the temple premises.

Sadananda Bangera recalled that six months ago Yeddyurappa when he was still the CM had donated Rs one crore for the development of the temple. Others said that Yeddyurappa had high concern for the community and had provided subsidy on diesel for fishermen.

All those who took part in the ritual were of the opinion that Yeddyurappa alone had been made the scapegoat in all scams. Though a probe had been ordered into illegal mining in the year 2000, the Lokayukta conducted the probe only during the BJP administration. This proved that the report on illegal mining was biased and that Yeddyurappa had been targeted. "We pray that he is released soon," they said.

Yeddyurappa was arrested on Saturday October 15 after he surrendered for his role in two graft cases. The same night he was shifted to Jayadeva Hospital for chest pain. On Tuesday October 18, his bail plea was deferred to October 20, and he was declared fit to be back in jail.

Vijay Kumar Shetty has been done lot of good work to mogaveer sangh. He had worked towards sanctioning money to temples.

It is clear that if you donate money to hindu community, do charity, initiate some development work, and to get recognized, one should be in BJP.

Yeddy corrupted all people in crores out of which he gave one crore to the this temple, gave petty break in diesel prices for mogaveera community and blindfolded these people, and when he was arrested played the drama of chest pain so instead of being in jail he could enjoy fancy hospitality where sick people could use that bed to rest and came back to jail, nothing wrong with the chest but drama. Unbelievable, how these politicians corrupt people of the nations wealth instead of using it to do good to the poor and needy of the country and live lavish life and do things such as these to ask for pity. These people need to wake up, and pray to God to bring people like yeddy to Justice and help the judiciary system. Then only the country will improve.

Mogaveera community in DK are the most honest, god fearing, hardworking and trust worthy people since ages.Urulu seve offered by them for the welfare of their favourite leader Yedyurappa can not be questioned and its their absolute right.Offering of urulu seve is also a way of showing their gartitude to thheir leader who has helped the community in their profession & culture. Here Yedurappa's legal aspects will come and it is not wise to comment their religious custom adversely. Its an act of absolute surrender to their worshiped deity.

If YEDDY had performed Urulu Seve daily instead of bribing Gods, he would've been healthy.
He doesn't deserve all these penance- He needs to donate all his illgotten wealth back to the people & earn his living by good means-then only he will comeout CLEAN.

Totally illogical. This is like praying for our legal system to fail.
These people what they praying for? are they praying for Yeddy not to be get punished for his wrong doing?
Society is really contaminated. It reached to a level where people doesnt know what is right and what is wrong.

It would be nice if they pray fro world peace. or say to keep yeddy in good health. But not for pardon his wrong doing because he has donated some money.

It would be wrong to say just because the person who donates money and do some good work , wont do the things what yeddy did.

What a tragedy. How can be a social Sangh be supporters of BJP? It can be certainly agreed some members could be supporters of certain political party.

But Mogaveer Sangh is doing this can be questionable.
