Mangaluru: Srinivas Institute of Technology holds farewell for final year students

Mangaluru, May 24: The Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, bid a heartfelt farewell to its outgoing students. The programme was presided by Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the institute. The event, organized to commemorate the achievements and memories of the departing students, was graced by distinguished personalities including Ananth Kulkarni, students’ welfare officer and head of the departments of various departments.

In his presidential address, Dr Shrinvasa Mayya D congratulated the outgoing students for their academic achievements, acknowledged the guidance of faculty and staff, encouraged them to uphold the values they acquired at college and urged the students to lead a balanced life.

Dr Ramakrishna N Hegde, head of automobile and aeronautical department, delivered an inspiring speech, recognizing the achievements and growth of the outgoing students at Srinivasa Institute of Technology. Additionally, he highlighted the opportunities for knowledge enhancement through events conducted by Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) and Dr Raghavendra Rao excellence centre.

At the event, the college magazine 'Srikrithi-15' was unveiled, and professor Rashmi, chief editor, and faculty of the MBA department, described the magazine as a collection that captures cherished memories and remarkable talents. Additionally, the program included the presentation of awards to the best projects from each department.

Dr Dheeraj Hebri, training and placement officer, extended a warm welcome to the gathering. Expressing gratitude, Dr Ananth Kulkarni, students’ welfare officer, delivered the vote of thanks. The master of ceremonies for the event were Dr Sumana V S and Rashmi from the MBA department.
