Udupi: District to receive continuous supply of drinking water

Udupi, May 25: As it has been raining across the district and Western Ghats, water is filled in Mandli dam, Karkala and two gates of the dam are opened. Therefore, the inflow of water to the Swarna river has increased and a sufficient amount of water is filled in Baje dam of the river.

In the circumstances, a press release from the office of municipal council commissioner stated that the rationing system of water will be stopped and drinking water will be supplied to Udupi city limits without break.
