Mangaluru: Young man injured in road accident dies in hospital

Mangaluru, May 26: A 35-year-old man from Thotattadi, who was injured in a two-wheeler accident in Mangaluru, has died in the hospital.

Deceased Kushalappa Gowda, also known as Prashanth, was the son of Agari Krishnappa Gowda from Thotattadi village. He worked in the hostel department of a college in Mangaluru. On Tuesday, an Innova car collided with his two-wheeler, causing severe head and stomach injuries.

He was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru, where he succumbed to his injuries on Friday without responding to treatment.

Kushalappa was unmarried and is survived by his father, mother, brothers, and sisters.

    Rest in peace Kushalappa. Yet another young life has gone because of someone's negligent driving. How many lives should we loose for RTO / Police department to be more stricter with law and rules. These wealthy and influential people drive expensive cars rashly and innocent people loose lives. Unless stringent rules and punishments are applied to these reckless drivers, our motorists will not probably change.

    RIP Kushalappaji. Very sad news. But my request with all vehicles riders, please go within the speed limited, with helmet, ( two wheeler) the condition of all roads are very bad.take care.
