Expelled BJP former MLA Raghupati Bhat receives jibe from ‘hijab protest’ student Aliya Assadi

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (JD)

Udupi, May 28: Aliya Assadi, leader of the Udupi hijab protest, has taken a jab at expelled BJP former MLA Raghupati Bhat on ‘X’ (Twitter).

"God will do what He wishes," she said. "With only 60 days remaining for the annual exams, you expelled me from college solely for wearing a hijab. Haven’t you achieved a great feat for your party?"

"Today, the same party has expelled you. I was able to witness that moment right here in Udupi."

"Today, I am a law student... and you are an expelled individual, a candidate," she taunted.
