Karkala: Sexual harassment of Dalit minor girl – BJP GP member arrested

Karkala, May 30: BJP member of the Kalya grama panchayat Santhosh Puthran was arrested by the Karkala rural police on charges of sexually harassing a minor dalit girl.

A case in this connection was filed with Karkala rural police station on Tuesday, May 28, under the Pocso and Atrocities Against Dalits Act.

The police have arrested the accused on Wednesday, May 29, and produced him to the court.

Santhosh has been remanded to judicial custody.

    It's frightening to see so many connected with BJP, transformed to monsters. It is not to say criminals and corrupt, not there in other parties. But, what is alarming is these repeat offender not only finding safe heaven with BJP, but rewarded too. Bilkis banoo rapists getting freed is example to prove, BJP returns the favor who worked hard for it, to get to power. Now, if that does not concern bhakths what else can?

    People who are against any special reservations etc for Dalits should note the increasing number of atrocity cases against the Dalits and the downtrodden by those from the higher castes, in so-called modern Desh!

    Bravo.You have brought a good name and fame to yourself ,family and your Party.What if it was from other political party person ?Already all the roads were filled from your Party members ,trying to groll and hate speeches ?First of all very bad for the minor girl from dalit girl.Shame on you .One should respect others ,and specially children .Whether dalit or Brahmin.People of all classes are equal .How you will let her keep up her dignity in soceity now?
