Pakistan Wants Friendly Ties with India: Khar


Islamabad, Oct 21 (IANS): Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has said that her country wants friendly relations with India based on "mutual respect and equality".

She made the remarks during a meeting with Indian High Commissioner Sharat Sabharwal, who called on her in her office Thursday, the official APP news agency reported.

She said Pakistan was keen to take the dialogue process forward in a sustained and result-oriented manner.

Sabharwal expressed satisfaction at the conclusion of the latest round of the dialogue process. He said India was keen to take the process forward.
