Monsoon to enter state on June 2, heavy rains predicted in some parts

Bengaluru, Jun 2: The monsoon is expected to arrive in Karnataka on June 2, a week earlier than usual. Typically, the monsoon begins in Karnataka around June 7 or 8.

Starting Sunday, there is a possibility of showers in some parts of the state. According to weather experts, current conditions are favorable for the southwest monsoon to fully enter Karnataka within two or three days.

Experts also noted that this year's monsoon rains will be copious due to the early arrival.
