Mangaluru: Srinivas Institute conducts Mind Master Intercollege Quiz

Mangaluru, Jun 5: To celebrate knowledge and learning, the department of MBA at Srinivas Institute of Engineering and Technology successfully hosted the Mind Master Intercollege Quiz 2024 on June 1. The event, held at the Srinivas Institute of Dental Science auditorium on the Srinivas University Campus in Mukka, witnessed an impressive display of intellect and academic progress.

The prestigious quiz competition brought together over 2000 students from 20 colleges, with only 700 qualifying for the second round and a select six making it to the final round. Among these bright minds, Lokesh M from UPMC College, Udupi, emerged victorious, claiming the top position. Sajith and Sathwik Shetty from MGM College, Udupi, were named runners-up.

Chancellor of Srinivas University Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao presided over the programme. He said, emphasising the educational benefits of such competitions in enhancing knowledge and critical thinking skills. He encouraged students to gain more knowledge through this kind of activity.

Honourable pro-chancellor of Srinivas University Dr A Srinivas Rao highlighted the importance of quiz competitions in nurturing a culture of learning and intellectual curiosity among students. He congratulated the finalists on their hard work and dedication.

A Vijayalaxmi R Rao, a member of the board of governors, Dr Thomas Pinto, dean of Srinivas Institute of Engineering and Technology, and Dr Reshma Pai, dean of Srinivas Institute of Dental Science, were present.

Prof Swarn G Kanchan, head of the department of MBA, extended a warm welcome. Varshitha Suvarna, the master of ceremonies, and Shradha, who presented a report on the event's proceedings, ensured the program's seamless execution.
