Beltangady, Jun 5: On account of World Environmental Day, the students of Anugraha Institutions presented an awareness programme.
The programme began with a prayer song. The principal Fr Vijay Lobo planted saplings. Alphin of 4th std and Alphia of 10nth std spoke on the importance of ‘World Environment Day’.
The students of primary section and high school sang nature songs. The students displayed placards of inspirational quotes on ‘Environment.’
In his address, Fr Vijay Lobo highlighted the importance of protecting the environment. He advised the students to keep their surroundings clean. Gayana of 10th std compered the programme. Students marched in a procession, holding placards with slogans on Environmental day.
