Udupi: Man loses Rs 25,21,587 in online fraud

Udupi, Jun 6: A man falls prey to online fraud and lost lacs of money.

Joyson William D’Souza, a resident of Karkala received a link in the name of Morgan Institution to open a demat account and invest money in it.

From May 15 to 30, the victim transferred Rs 32,21,587 to the different accounts as asked by the accused. Rs 7,00,000 was credited to the victim’s bank account while Rs 25,21,587 was not credited.

A complaint has been filed at Karkala police station.
