Udupi: Three youths arrested over drug consumption

Udupi, Jun 7: Three youths consuming drugs were arrested by Manipal police in Shivalli village, Eshwar Nagar on June 5.

The accused are identified as Jeeva (22), Lakshman (21) and Nirguna (20). During duty, Raghavendra C, deputy inspector found that the trio was intoxicated and were brought for tests at Manipal KMC forensic medicine department on the suspicion of having consumed the narcotic substance. Later, it was confirmed that they had consumed drugs.

A case has been registered in Manipal police station and is under investigation.
